Spiritual rituals often have a vocal component to them. Sometimes traditions involve singing, mantras or certain spoken words. That is what I was contemplating while creating this work. I imagined that these vocal traditions invoke a physical force in this world and decided what that might look like. Here you can see 4 people joining their voices together. They are making a sort of rip or bridge between things. Look closely at the background.
