THE EMOTIONAL CREATURE
Surrender by beauty, flowers, and gold
He feels defeated, guilty, sad, and alone
Sometimes his emotions get out of control
He wishes he had someone to love
He feels too much he hears them say
Maybe there is something wrong with him
He craves love and affection every day
Poor emotional creature, someone help him
He is desperately looking for someone else
A person that can fill his needs and his wants
But with that way to approach his life
His unfulfilled wishes will remain intact
“Stop looking outside, and give to yourself
the love that in your childhood you couldn’t obtain
Meet your own needs, for god sake.”
That is what his brain constantly say
However, his brain is not the one that dictates
Because up in his head, a heart remains
Giving him sadness and emotional pain
An unbreakable cage that he cannot escape
What overwhelming situation the one he is in
Loving others more than he loves himself
He thinks he is ugly, annoying, and fat
Yet, he is a lovable creature in fact.
