Description

How do you decide that your painting is finished? What's the longest time your artwork ever waited to be finished?⁣
⁣
I completed this watercolor landscape very recently, but it's been about a year since I first thought it's ready, only to look at it in a different light and realise it was far from being true and there's still a lot of work ahead of me. This was slightly discouraging due to its size (56x76 cm) and the amount of time I've already spent painting it. That's why I allowed it to lie neglected that long.⁣
⁣
Now I can happily admit that I'm satisfied with the final result. This is what I was hoping to achieve when I started to paint - a watercolor that's moody and cohesive with it's mysterious title! 😁⁣
