Description
‘Padworth Common I’, 15cm x 10.5cm, pen on paper. This drawing is attempt number two - I originally started drawing this landscape a couple of weeks ago but felt it went awry when I couldn’t figure out how to successfully communicate the distant trees with the detailed foreground and used a mark making technique which I felt was too busy. After having some distance from the drawing I started drawing the landscape again which is the piece here, I’m much happier with the mark making.
