Disastr House was my home, sanctuary, and creative safe haven as a teen. I miss the beer soaked wooden floor smell, the stale cigarette smoke lingering in the air, pizza boxes stacked in the kitchen, all the writing on the walls, I even miss the little mice that’d break in & steal all my pantry food.

But most of all I miss the sweaty moshing & all us kids screaming out their favorite crust punk songs over steel reserves & sidewalk slams.

I dream about it every night.
