I've always found this Lino cut to be quite uplifting, based on the lake within the grounds of Corsham Court, which has a little island in the middle, and a vast population of Canada Geese, Swans and Ducks. The lake is a lovely place to walk around and as the sun goes down the colours reflect in the water. I always think the birds go to the island for safety at night, but that's just my fairy tale view on it all.
