the wooden bike
However, Grainworks, a California based company founded by Mike Pecsok have thought of something really cool.
A beautifully carved wooden bike!
“I will build you a custom AnalogOne.One model fit to your size. You may choose wood species, and some design variants to suite your taste. Each bike is specific to the owner and no two are alike.”
– Mike Pecsok
Yes, this isn’t a new thing out there but some models of wooden bikes are really elegant and one of them is named AnalogOne.One
It is made from a combination of wood, like African mahogany, walnut, birch-plywood, and steel a mainframe.
It consisting of nine layers that are laminated together to form a unique work of art with two wheels.
But how it all began?
After acquiring some basic tools at the age of 18, I built a workshop in a corner of a warehouse that was owned by my Grandpa.
Originally it was filled with portable, contractor-style tools, and at that time, those were all I needed because I was not making the kinds of things I make today.
All the story behind this is really interesting and worth checking their About Us page.
You can order a custom bicycle for a price of $5.000 but you will get something timeless and unique.
Of course, you cannot hope to win competitions or any gold medals but you can for sure turn the one’s attention with a striking wooden bicycle 😀
This is the kind of bicycle that you need to put it very carefully in a safe zone without too much moisture or far away from anything that could harm the perfectly carved wood.
