From Animation to Painting
Surace was born in 1977 in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
He began his artistic activities before the age of 20.
The first mediums he tried using were watercolors, oil paints, and prints.
When he moved to Spain, he found work as a 3-D animator and illustrator.
His work received featuring status in video games and television shows.
During this period of his life, he also prepared exhibits for galleries in Spain and Argentina.
The delicate creatures that he features in his work do have subversive elements to them.
His piece titled Musica la Voz de su Amante is a prime example of this trait.
Even with this touch of controversy, Surace eagerly encourages each person to embrace their imagination.

Surace is a Master of 3-D Work
Surace may have been born in Argentina, but artists everywhere feel inspiration from his work.
He moved to Barcelona in 1998 to begin working in three-dimensional illustration and animation.

Some pieces contain elements of dark humor. Other items offer a critical, almost satirical criticism of society in some way.
