A Mexican artist, Enrique Bernal, has found a unique way to make his pencil drawings shine with mystery.
Mexican artist Enrique ‘Kike’ Bernal found a way to create a beautiful glowing effect on his pencil drawings.
The magical way to illuminate his pencil drawings is taking his glowing art to the next level.
Most of his realistic illustrations are those with people and animals and the warmed mysterious light and the angles used makes them really pop and create a warm candescence.
How are these fluorescent effects obtained?
Once the portraits are finished, he uses digital lighting to manipulate the drawings and create the illusion of the third dimension in his work.
For that, he uses the Medibang Paint app, a free illustration production software developed by the Japanese developer MediBang Inc., that allows him to add artificial lighting to his drawings.
The sophisticated artist’s touch adds a whole new dimension to his already perfect sketches and makes his work stand out among many other artists.
Upon seeing the impressive result, Enrique Bernal proceeded by cleverly using the placement of the subject’s glare thus resulting in the digital glow to contour the features of the subject such as face and hair.
