Figurative Sculptures

I am an artist and writer living and working in Devizes, Wiltshire, England. I was born in London in 1959. My family moved to Australia in the early 60’s; £10 POHMS. Adelaide was a great place to grow up; very hot! There was always something interesting to find when out exploring the parks and foothills near my home; rocks, lizards, spiders and the like. We moved back to England in 1976.

After doing my art foundation year at Wiltshire College, I did a BA hons degree in Fine Art at Exeter College of Art and Design and graduated with a First in 1986. I was awarded a scholarship to study at the University of Massachusetts where I completed a Master’s Degree in sculpture in 1988. I have taught Drawing and 3D Design at further education level, and evening classes.

I have been part of a number of exhibitions over the years and I am currently self-employed doing a variety of things. I continue to pursue a wide range of creative endeavours; mainly sculpture and writing. I started writing poems in 1995 but it wasn't until 2012 that I stared writing my first novel. I have a backlog of work I want to release into the wild, fiction and non-fiction.
