Pet portraits became a love of mine though encouragement from my family and love of animals.

My grandpa, David Yates is the main reason I draw. I sketched everything from the kitchen table to flowers outside.

Practice from all those years to now has made me the artist I am. Anyone wanting a portrait done to pick the clearest high pixel image you have of your furry friend. My main tools are pastel pencils, prismo charcoal and white charcoal for highlights.
