Watercolor Portraits

I am an paper sculptor, watercolor artist and photographer, with several awards for my original creations.

I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and have finished the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague (UMPRUM), Czech Republic. After living in France for several years, I have settled in Quebec, Canada, where I teach photography and graphic design.

In 2006, my paper toys won the Grand Prix of the prestigious contest Grafika – Special category. In 2011, I won a second Grand Prix Grafika – category CD / DVD cover.

I am a member of the International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists (IAPMA). I have participated several times in the Amateras Sofia Paper Art Fest where, in 2018, I received an Honorable Mention.

I have published three books of kirigami at Dover Children’s Activity Books.
